Haven Center, a newly developing pregnancy center in Watertown, was recently the recipient of a large donation from Cornerstone Church in Watertown.
Steve Anderson, Senior Pastor at Cornerstone Church, said “When we at Cornerstone Church heard a group in Watertown was working to bring a crisis pregnancy center to Watertown, we wanted to help! People's hearts were touched, and they responded with generous giving. We feel honored to be able to support Haven Center as they provide a listening ear, hope, and life- affirming information to women with an unexpected pregnancy.”
Cornerstone presented a check for $71,246.46 to Haven Center last week, following their 501c3 approval.
“This is such an incredible gift! It allows us to continue toward getting our doors open and beginning to offer assistance to women and men faced with an unplanned pregnancy” Michael Wallenmeyer, President of Haven Center Board of Directors said. “We are so very grateful to Cornerstone!”
